Dr. Julie Storm DMD | Midwest City

Dr. Storm was born and raised in Elk City, OK. While originally a dance performance major, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma City University and then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She started as an associate in Arizona and has been in private practice since moving back to Oklahoma in 2011.

She is active in study clubs and organized dental groups to stay current on the latest techniques and technology. She has a passion for continuing education to keep improving care for her patients.

When Dr. Storm is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching musicals and ballets, reading and cooking. She and her husband, Van, have two daughters, Dori & Arli.

What she likes about dentistry:
“Dentistry allows time for a personal connection with patients while assisting in reaching their optimal oral and overall health. It also provides a platform for continual learning and achievement. There are lots of ways to do dentistry, so you have to get to know the patient to find out what’s best for them. Ultimately, I love new smiles and how it can completely change a person’s confidence level.”

Favorite Procedures:
Implant supported or retained dentures — “I love to work with surgeons and lab technicians as a team to provide patients with teeth they didn’t think they can have after wearing traditional dentures or not being able to sustain their natural teeth.”

Goal for Patients:
My goal is to make patients feel at home.  We strive to build relationships with patients and provide a comfortable environment - we have blankets, headphones, TV, and aromatherapy available to keep patients as relaxed as one can be in a dental chair.
